Stealing perfume from Debenhams, failing to remove rubbish, and driving offences: Sunderland and South Tyneside cases dealt with in court

Daniel Cunningham, 24, of Wakefield Avenue, South Shields, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, driving whilst disqualified and without insurance. He was banned from driving for 40 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £90 surcharge. He was given a 12-month community order with 100 hours of unpaid work.

Michai Voicu, 47, address not given, was fined £80 after admitting driving without due care and attention in Sunderland. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge and was given five penalty points.

Vickie Lorraine Gillespie, 36, of Kidsgrove Square, Downhill, Sunderland, admitted stealing perfume to the value of £193 from Debenhams and food items to the value of £257.57 from Asda Boldon. She also admitted a charge of assault. She was given a 12-month community order and told to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £90 surcharge.

Helen Gibson, 31, of Jervis Street, Hebburn, was fined £660 for failing to provide information to an authorised person. The case was proved in her absence and she was ordered to pay £100 costs and a £66 surcharge.

Stacey Hobbs, no age given, of Lulworth Avenue, Jarrow, was fined £180 for failing to remove refuse. She was ordered to pay £100 costs and a £32 surcharge. The case was proved in her absence.

Anna Parvia, no age given, of Ferry Street, Jarrow, was fined £660, after if was found she failed to provide assistance to an authorised person. She was ordered to pay £100 costs and a £66 surcharge.

Jamie Russell, no age given, of Leighton Street, South Shields, was fined £660 after it was proved in his absence that he failed to comply with a community protection order. He was ordered to pay £100 costs and a £66 surcharge.
