The South Shields streets where most crime is reported
The latest South Shields and South Tyneside crime hotspots have been revealed in newly-released monthly figures.
The Home Office’s July statistics cover Northumbria Police’s three policing neighbourhoods for the area and show a fall of hundreds of reported offences compared to June’s statistics (available here). Cases are said to have taken place “on or near” named locations and all streets are in South Shields unless otherwise stated.
