Thieves strike at same house twice stealing vehicles worth thousands of pounds

VEHICLES worth thousands of pounds have been stolen from the same South Tyneside address.

Thieves struck in Nicholas Avenue in Whitburn between noon and 2pm on January 1.

A green and brown 2007 Piaggo Vespa worth more than £2,000 was stolen.

The following night between 9.30pm and 11pm a beige Nissan Quashqai was stolen from outside the same address.

Police believe the two burglaries are linked.
