Craft and vintage goods lovers can enjoy all the fun of the fair this weekend.

The Customs House, in South Shields, is holding its first ever vintage fair on Sunday.

More than 25 stallholders will be showing their wares at the event which takes place from 10am.

Stalls will include vintage clothes, accessories, homeware, jewellery, textiles, trinkets and more.

Customs House executive director, Ray Spencer, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting this event. There are so many talented people living in and around South Tyneside who can use their talents to help brighten up somebody else’s day.

“We’re sure there will be something for everybody to see and there’s also great food on offer.”

The fayre will be spread over the Mill Dam venue’s Community Room and the main Gallery, with refreshments available from The Green Room restaurant and Lower Fusion bar.

The event runs until 2pm with a £2 entry fee, and free to under 16s.

The Customs House also holds craft master classes every Saturday. For information, go to
