Dan Gosling has '˜no regrets' over frustrating four years at Newcastle
Dan Gosling says he has 'no regrets' about joining Newcastle United '“ even though his career 'stalled' at the club.
Gosling returns to Tyneside with Bournemouth this afternoon.
And the 26-year-old – who spent four years on Tyneside – feels he is playing the best football of his career.
Reflecting on his move to Newcastle, he said: “I feel like there was a lot of times in my four years there where I could’ve played. But I just never really got given the chance and I left after my contract expired.
“My career stalled a little bit. I wasn’t getting the games which I felt I should be. There was sort of no room for me there.
“I don’t regret the move to Newcastle. It was something I couldn’t turn down at the time. They’re a massive club, and I feel very proud to have played for them.
“It’s nice to show people now that I can play at this level.”
