DeAndre Yedlin reveals what disappointed him most about Newcastle's defeat to Everton

Newcastle United will 'keep shooting higher', according to DeAndre Yedlin.

The club’s four-game winning streak was brought to an end by Everton on Monday.

However, Yedlin has high hopes for the 10th-placed club’s remaining four Premier League games.

“We know what position we’re in now, and we want to keep shooting higher,” said the defender.

“The disappointing thing is that we weren’t able to move up. But there are more opportunities, so we’re going to do the best we can to try and move up the table.”

Reflecting on the 1-0 Everton defeat, Yedlin said: “I don’t think it’s a performance we need to get too down about. We definitely had our chances and our opportunities, and it’s just about finishing those off, defending a bit better and moving on.”
