Diversion removed after site of Jarrow accident is cleared
A busy road in Jarrow has reopened following a crash.
Northumbria Police Tweeted that a two-vehicle collision had happened in Church Bank.
Diversions were put in place.
A police spokeswoman said report of the incident had come in at 3.40pm.
There are no details of any injuries.
The road reopened at around 5pm.
The force said: “The collision on Church Bank Jarrow has now been cleared and the road has now been re-opened.
“Thank you to everyone for their patience.”
