5. Nancy (Dobermann cross, seven months)
Nancy is a beautiful young girl ready to find her forever family. Her training will need starting from scratch. This will include house training and that it’s ok to spend time on her own. A home with a garden will be of benefit. It will require dedicated owners who have the time to put this training in place. Initially she can be worried but is gaining in confidence, and this is helped by other dogs. We are looking for a home with an older existing dog (who’s up to date with their vaccinations and neutered) who can show her the ropes and help her continue to blossom. She will need to further her doggy social skills for when out and about as she can be reactive. Nancy can potentially live with secondary school aged children who are used to larger breeds. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington
Bubble and Squeak are currently enjoying lots of TLC in a foster home. They are fully housetrained and are comfortable being left for a couple hours so long as they are together. Bubble and Squeak travel well in the car and absolutely love their walks! They can be vocal towards other dogs so would prefer to be walked in quieter places. Bubble and Squeak are very energetic and can jump up when excited. Squeak can also be strong on the lead so will need active owners who are happy to continue their training. Bubble and Squeak are a very loving, affectionate pair who would make a warm addition to the family. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Edinburgh
Gina is a gorgeous girl who enjoys being around her family. She would like for her new owners to be around most of the day to keep her company. She would love to find a calm and quiet home where she can cosy up in her bed and rest her paws. Gina would like for her new owners to meet her at the centre multiple times to build a strong bond before heading home | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Edinburgh
Lucy Longlegs is a fun loving girl who loves to be around her favourite people. Lucy Longlegs loves the garden, she is often seen running around, stretching her long legs or playing with all her toys. She is an energetic girl looking for active owners, although she does loves to curl up in her bed or on the sofa for a good snooze at the end of the day. Lucy Longlegs can be worried by other dogs so enjoys to walk in quiet locations where she can relax and enjoy the peaceful environment. She walks nicely on the lead and is fully housetrained. Lucy Longlegs would ideally like someone that is home most of the day to keep her company and is more than willing to join you on a trip in the car. Lucy Longlegs is worried by people coming into her home and is looking for a quiet and calm home with very few visitors. Lucy Longlegs is a very clever girl who loves to learn and please people. Lucy Longlegs knows a large variety of tricks including a dramatic play dead, paw and even walking between your legs. She is a very playful girl who adores a squeaky toy and to play tug of war. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Edinburgh
