Dogs Trust currently has so many gorgeous pups up for adoption across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria, Leeds and Edinburgh rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a forever home in time for Summer.

5. Cinnamon (Crossbreed, nine years)
Super Cinnamon is a nine-year-old sighthound who has seen over 90 dogs come into Cumbria for rehoming and be matched to new homes. She would love to be the next one! Cinnamon is house trained, crate trained and walks nicely beside you on lead. She does struggle with being left and needs someone who is home all day whilst she adjusts to a new routine and that can spend time building her leaving times by a couple of minutes each time. This will be a very slow process so someone patient with very little leaving time is ideal. Cinnamon currently stays in a foster home with three small male dogs and a female lurcher. She enjoys their company and going on walks. She finds meeting unfamiliar dogs outside very overwhelming so is currently walked at quieter times to minimise this. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

6. Princess (Cocker Spaniel, eight years)
Princess is just the most perfect house guest and adorable in everyway. She is around eight-years-old and loves everyone, her little tail is always on the go as she happily says HELLO to anyone she meets. Princess is nice to walk and likes to be out and about. She seems sociable with dogs but is currently in season so will need to be the only dog in the household for now. Princess likes free rein of the house as she likes to sleep in the bedroom or snuggle on the sofa with her owners. She is also fully house trained. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

7. Coco (Patterdale Terrier, one-two years)
Coco is a 16 month old Patterdale terrier who is a lot of fun to be around! She is a busy girl who she loves a job to do, so would suit owners who would work her brain as well as going on walks. Coco can be lively around dogs and isn't yet sure how to interact with them. She would benefit from further training in this area and for now will need to be the only dog. Typical of the breed, she has a high prey drive and working traits so a knowledge or experience of Patterdales would be useful. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

8. Celt (Lurcher, five years)
Celt is a five-year-old Rough coat lurcher, He is truly majestic looking big boy. Celt began life in a rural setting, living off grid and mostly outdoors, he has been living in a home for a few months now. He'd like a home where he can get on the sofa for a snooze, or have enough room for a comfortable bed or two. He'll need continued support with his toilet training, as he has mostly got this now, however a change of environment may disrupt his routine. He would rather not live with children, and likes peace and quiet. He needs access to a secure garden with high fence. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
