There are so many puppies in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 21 of the dogs searching for a forever home this February.
![Loki is a fabulous golden oldie, at 11 years old he is still a very energetic boy who will make a wonderful addition to your home. He will need to be the only dog in the home and would prefer to socialise when out with walking buddies. He is very bouncy and sometimes forgets that paws should be kept on floors, so would be better looking for a home with any children being over the age of 16 years. He would like access to the furniture as this is where he has always been allow to rest, Loki has come into our care after his owner has suffered ill health and is no longer able to care for Loki, He has taken all of this in his stride, he appears to be a well-rounded lad who has been loved and cared for. He is good on the lead, walks well in other dogs’ company](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/02/05/9/35/Screenshot%202024-02-05%2009.03.49.png.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)

![Lola has had a sheltered life so can find the big wide world overwhelming. Giving her time and space for her to come out of her shell you will be rewarded with seeing her playful nature. Chasing a ball is one of her favourite games. Lola is fan of high value treats which is great way to start up a budding friendship and aid her on going training. With patient owners and the right set up, we are sure Lola will thrive and it is going to be such a reward watching her blossom.](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/02/05/9/45/Screenshot%202024-02-05%2009.04.50.png.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)

![Mulberry is full of potential, but she'll only flourish if her adopters keep up with her training. Our team will be happy to assist and advise throughout as we're keen to see this delightful young lass thrive in a forever home. She absolutely needs a calm and predictable home so she can learn the ropes. This means she'll need to be the only dog in an adult only home (or potentially calm, sensible older teens) with someone around all the time until she's fully settled in and ready to slowly build up to any alone time.](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/02/05/9/00/Screenshot%202024-02-05%2009.06.01.png.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)

![Handsome Humphrey is a 5-month-old Crossbreed who is looking for a new home. He will need adopters who are confident with big, strong dogs as he is still growing! He could potentially share his home with another well trained dog who could be a good role model for him, but he won't suit cats or small furry pets due to his chase instinct. He will need to learn all his basic training and also attend our Dog School Puppy Training classes which our team will discuss in more detail. Due to his size and slightly shy nature we can only consider a home with just adults.](https://www.thestar.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/02/05/9/22/Screenshot%202024-02-05%2009.07.23.png.jpg?crop=3:2&trim=&width=800)
