Drivers warned as traffic lights go out on busy A19 roundabout
Drivers have been warned to take care after a suspected power cut knocked out lights at a major roundabout
Police and traffic agencies reported A19 traffic signal failure at Testos roundabout junction with the A184 just before 7am this morning.
Engineers are en route to fix the problem, but police and North East Combined Authority traffic news service are reminding the drivers to go round the junction as if it were a normal roundabout, and to take care.
Motorists may face a longer wait than normal at the junction.
