TODAY is the day for hundreds of teenagers in South Tyneside who will be collecting their GCSE results.

The borough’s nine secondary schools will handing out exams results from 9am.

The 16-year-olds will be eagerly waiting to open up their envelops to see if they’ve made the grade for their future colleges and sixth forms.

Full coverage of the results will be featured in tomorrow’s Gazette.

Snap-happy teens can also send in ‘selfies’ of themselves opening their results.

Make sure to include your name, your school and location.
