RENEWABLE energy will come under the spotlight when a specialist from South Tyneside gives fresh insight into its work at an information open day tomorrow.
Experts at Advanced Renewable Power (ARPower), say householders and businesses can boost the environment – and save on energy bills – by installing its solar roof products, renewable heat technology and low-carbon, home-heating systems.
The South Shields firm will throw open the doors at its base inside the £4.5m One Trinity Green business centre, in Eldon Street, from 10am to 4pm.
Finance director Maria Pittiglio hopes the event will appeal to those who have already considered switching to renewable energy and others to whom the idea is new.
She said: “We are committed to helping the environment by encouraging people to use renewable energy, and that is why we are so keen to let people see exactly what it is that we do.
“Renewables are a vitally important power source for this and future generations. The open day is for any individual or business that is or has ever considered the benefits of this new energy technology.
“It costs nothing to come along and get expert guidance.
“We know there are many people thinking about making the switch, and I hope they will join us and get the extra advice they need to do just that.
The firm, which is Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accredited, a Government-backed and industry-led standard, also specialises in energy efficiency technology, such as heat pumps, underfloor heating and biomass boilers.
