A trio of the ever-popular chart-toppers - who came to fame after being crowned Eurovision winners with their dazzling skirt-ripping dance routines in 1981 - will be heading to the borough for an eagerly-awaited gig at The Customs House, Mill Dam, South Shields, on September 30.

The original members of the group - Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston - will be teaming up with founding member Mike Nolan to bring a bumper back catalogue of classic songs to fans old and new alike.
