Extra tickets go on sale for South Shields FC Vase semi-final

Extra tickets are set to go on sale for the biggest match in South Shields FC's recent history.

The club has announced that a limited number of additional tickets for Saturday's FA Vase semi-final second leg against Coleshill Town are to be made available at 12pm today.

That comes after the initial allocation sold out almost a week ahead of the game at Mariners Park.

Coleshill have now returned a portion of their away allocation of tickets, meaning the ground record of 3,161 could be broken on Saturday.

Tickets can be bought by visiting the ground, or calling 0191 454 7800.

They cost £8 for adults, £6 for over-65s and students, and £4 for under-16s.

Shields will take a 2-1 lead into the second leg, having won at Coleshill on Saturday.

Their prize for avoiding defeat this weekend would be a place in the final at Wembley.
