The community event is set to raise funds for the club in Dean Road, South Shields.

It is set to kick off at 6pm with fairground rides, soft play, food and drinks, and the chance to meet your favourite superheroes.

Fire dancers will put on a display from 8.15pm and fireworks will light up the sky from 8.30pm.

Club manager Jan Robinson said: “We have this event every year, this is the eighth year now and everybody always has a great time and it all helps the club keep going.

It’s a big community event for all the family and we hope everyone comes down to join us again for a fun night out.

“It’s a big community event for all the family and we hope everyone comes down to join us again for a fun night out.

“It’s always great seeing everyone come together to enjoy themselves and we hope this year is no different.”

Club volunteers will be on hand to ensure a night of family fun.

The display has attracted crowds of more than 2,000 in previous years, with another bumper turn-out expected this time.

Tickets cost £6 for adults, £5 for children and OAPs and entry is free for under-fives.

A family ticket can be bought before the day for £20. Tickets can be bought from the venue’s bar and club house or by calling 0191 456 1506.
