First pictures of Rafa Benitez back at Newcastle to sign new deal
Rafa Benitez has been pictured back at St James's Park after agreeing to stay on as Newcastle United manager.
The Spaniard has committed his future to the relegated club despite having a break clause in his contract if the Magpies dropped into the Championship.
Benitez’s stay is set to be announced later today, and he travelled back up to Tyneside from his Merseyside home this lunchtime.
He was pictured arriving at St James’s by agency North News, ahead of his new three-year deal being confirmed.
