Fresh appeal for missing man Daniel Smith – one month after his disappearance

POLICE have made a fresh appeal in the hunt for a missing man – almost one month after he was last seen.

Daniel Smith, 25, a South Tyneside man living in Sunderland, was last seen on Friday, March 20 in Sunderland.

He is described as 5ft 10 to 6ft, medium build, very short light brown hair with Chinese writing tattooed on the left side of his neck and “SMITHY” on his left arm.

Enquiries are being carried out to locate him and officers are asking anyone who may have seen him in the past few weeks to get in contact.

Detective Inspector Denise Clark said: “It’s almost a month since Daniel was last seen and his family are desperate to hear from him and hear that he is safe and well, we would urge him to please get in contact with us.

“Likewise, we would like to hear from anyone who has seen him in the past month or has any information about where he is.”
