Friend's letter to tragic Chirelle: '˜You have no idea how much you are going to be missed'

Beth Cooper, 16, put pen to paper after learning the devastating news that her friend had fallen to her death from Marsden cliffs, on Saturday.

Beth, who lives in South Shields, kindly shared her words with the Gazette, and we have published an excerpt here.

She wrote: “Chirelle, you were such an amazing human, who brought joy to everyone’s day.

“You had such beautiful eyes, that just melted the heart, whenever I looked at you, and, every time I saw you, you made me smile, laugh and so happy.

“You had the most considerate heart and you put everyone before yourself, you were truly incredible.

“Now you are gone, I don’t know what to do with myself, your spark is gone and it’s left a hole so deep inside me, it just hurts to breath.

“You was the kindest person you could ever meet, so generous and a truly amazing person.

“Knowing I’m never going to see your beautiful smile or be around you no more, just makes me cry.

“I loved you so much, and, I have to say, I cherished every moment I spent with you.

“My heart goes out to all your family, friends and in fact everyone who knew you you have no idea how much you are going to be missed..

“We all loved you so much and you have no idea how much you are going to be missed.

“RIP to an amazing person and I hope you rest in peace.”
