A DAREDEVIL charity champion from Jarrow who has spent an amazing 32 years raising money for good causes is seeking a new sponsor.
Andy Buddin, 50, has raised £6,000 over the last six years for five separate charities.
His fundraising has seen him jump out of planes, hanging from the Tyne Bridge and running and riding all over the UK, taking part in the Great North Run, the Great North Bike Ride and the Sunderland and Gateshead 10k runs.
His next port of call will be the Great South Run in Portsmouth on October 25.
The fast and flat 10-mile route takes in the iconic sites of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, including Portsmouth Cathedral, Spinnaker Tower and the HMS Victory.
This time round he’s running in support of the mental health charity Mind.
Mr Buddin, of the Hill Park Estate, said: “My mum had mental health needs for a long time in her life, and she had three breakdowns.
“It is not nice to see in someone who you love go through this.
“I am asking for help again. Last year I raised £547.29 for MS, with help from Solar Solve Marine, and I would like to thank them for their help.
“So, if there is anyone that would like to help me with a sponsor, they can do so by visiting my website.”
Anyone who could help Andy can do so HERE.
