Gap in service on the Metro this evening
There is a gap in the service on the Metro this evening in South Shields.
A spokesman for Tyne and Wear Metro, said: "Due to the earlier withdrawn train we have a gap in the service of up to 30 minutes to trains running between St James and South Shields in both directions.
"We are sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this may cause you tonight."
