Workers are currently carrying out checks in the area in a bid to find where the source of the suspected leak is coming from.

As a precaution earlier this afternoon, pupils at St Wilfrids RC College in Temple Park Road carried out an evacuation drill.

However, students were soon let back into the building to contine their studies after it was confirmed there was no gas leak in the local area.
