FAMILIES are being given the chance to show off their craft-making skills in a series of festive-themed sessions.
Hebburn Library in Station Road, is opening its doors to people who want to put their own personal stamp on Christmas this year.
Visitors are being given the chance to create their own festive decorations or cards.
The free drop-in sessions taking place every Wednesday until Christmas, are open to all ages.
Librarian Sharon McGarey said: “We regularly hold craft sessions, but decided in the weeks running up to Christmas we would run some themed craft events. We held our first one last week and quite a few people turned out and everyone had lots of fun. The craft sessions are open to people of all ages and there is no need to book.
“They are great for families, as the craft sessions are something everyone can get involved in and the children have lots of fun.”
The sessions take place on Wednesdays between 4pm and 5pm.
