After reaching a maximum today of 7C, temperatures will fall away quickly this evening, leading to another widespread sharp frost. Temperatures will plummet to a minimum of -4C.

Monday will see a frosty start, but it will be dry with hazy sunshine and light winds during the morning.

It will remain dry through the afternoon but with thickening cloud and a strengthening southerly breeze bringing rain by evening. Temperatures will reach a maximum of 6C.

On Tuesday, temperatures will reach a weekly high of 10C, and there will be wind and rain, clearing to showers later.

Wednesday will be cold and blustery with some sunshine and heavy wintry showers.

On Thursday, there will be fewer showers and lighter winds, though it will remain cold.
