Ghost story fans urged to send in their favourites to appear in spooky new show
The Book of Darkness and Light is set to have audiences on the edge of their seat when it takes to the stage at The Customs House in South Shields on Friday, October 6.
The show which comes to the town as part of a four-month national tour aims to give the audience a new storytelling experience from writer Adam Z Robinson and musician Ben Styles.

Hide AdThe show uses a combination of original ghost stories and live violin music to create performances that are spooky, mesmerising and charming.
Each show includes some short, local ghost stories and legends specific to the location, so Adam and Ben are brushing up on their knowledge of South Shields and would love to hear your spooky tales.
Adam said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our ghost stories to The Customs House.
“The Book of Darkness and Light is an evening of chilling, enthralling tales, all set off with a live, haunting violin score. “It’s perfect for this time of year as the dark nights are drawing in.

Legend has it that many years ago, a book of terrifying tales was found.
With the ancient book in hand, The Storyteller tells three chilling tales ranging from the moving to the macabre, as The Musician fills the room with a beautiful, haunting score.

The Book of Darkness and Light tour is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
