Girl taken to hospital after accident at busy South Shields junction
Police were called to a road in South Tyneside to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
Officers attended Benton Road at it's junction with Galsworthy Road, South Shields at 1.20pm on Saturday.
A girl and a car had collided with each other.
The girl attended hospital as a precaution after suffering what police believe to be a slight injury.
