South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust’s Annual General Meeting, which is open to the general public, will be held on Tuesday, September 29.
For Chief Executive Lorraine Lambert, the AGM will be her last major official duty before she retires the next day after 36 years of NHS service.
Mrs Lambert said: “As the Trust’s Chief Executive for 18 years, I have attended many AGMs but this one will be particularly special for me personally. It will also be a chance to mark 10 years since we achieved Foundation Trust status, which was an important milestone for us as it gave us greater freedom to make local decisions to improve services in line with what local people want.”
The meeting will be in the Education Centre at South Tyneside District Hospital, at 4pm.
From 3pm, there will be an opportunity to meet the board of directors and governors.
