'Heavy delays' following two-vehicle crash on A19 in Sunderland

Drivers are facing delays on the A19 tonight following a two-car crash.

It happened on the northbound side of the road on the A1290 junction at Downhill Lane and Nissan.

North East Traffic Live tweeted: "Collision on A19 Northbound approach to A1290 Downhill Lane / Nissan junction involving two vehicles.

"Heavy delays."
