Students at the school on Campbell Park Road have been praised by their head teacher David Thompson for achieving their top results after a 'gruelling' exam period.

Some students sat as many as 21 exams during the space of a month, but many came out of the other side smiling, having received the grades they need to progress onto the next step in their careers.

Mr Thompson said of their school's success: "I am really very proud of Year 11 and how they conducted themselves throughout the gruelling period of examinations.

"Despite this, and further government changes, I am extremely pleased that our students have continued to make good progress against their starting points.

"I would like to wish Year 11 the very best of luck for whatever they choose to do in the future.
