Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix says working with idol Nicki Minaj is a 'dream come true'
The 25-year-old who shot to fame along with fellow South Shields band mate Perrie Edwards, 25, on the X Factor, said the long-awaited collaboration with the American artist was released exactly seven years to the week when the girls sang her track on the TV show.
In an emotional post on her Instagram, Jade publicly thanked Nicki Minaj, 35, for her support and said the song aims to inspire female empowerment.

"It's been a dream of ours and now here we are.
"Everything happens for a reason.
"Nicki Minaj we can't thank you enough for all if your support for Woman Like Me.
"Girl power at its finest.
"We love you. And I love my girls.
"Also seven years to the week that we performed Super Bass on the X Factor.
"Madness. Overwhelming. Meant to be."
The post has gathered more than 100,000 likes on Instagram, while their song has already been listened to more than 2 million times on YouTube since it was released on Thursday and soared to the top of the iTunes chart.
