Chris Winn has left Roofing.

After Tuesday night’s trip to Newton Aycliffe was called off, McLoughlin and his Roofers face a packed end to the season, and have seen clubs pull clear of the bottom three while their games have been postponed.

“Guisborough are one of the sides pulling clear up the league and it’s always a battle with them,” said McLoughlin.

“This game will be no different, a hard battle for the 90 minuets and whoever has the best workrate will play a big part in getting a result.

“If we can set out and achieve that desire to win the battle then I’m sure we can go on to get something out of the game.

“Our concentration has to be at its best, from all players on the pitch, and if we carry players in the game then it will give them the chance to get at us and they will exploit us in any weak areas.”

A win for Roofing won’t pull them clear of danger after Penrith put a cushion between themselves and the relegation zone, though sitting just four points behind the Cumbrians and with four games in hand, Roofing are still in charge of their own destiny.

Shaun Vipond returns but Paul Gardiner is missing. McLoughlin has also allowed striker Chris Winn to move to Bishop Auckland. A first choice last season, Winn has found himself behind Dennis Knight, Liam Anderson and John Campbell since returning from an injury which ruled him out of the opening months of this term.
