A Jarrow singer needs your help to make her musical dreams come true.
Jamilah Hassan is in the running for the chance to open for US rapper Nelly, when he stars at Newcastle's 02 Academy in June.
The 26-year-old is one of 14 musicians battling to gain the most votes from the public before the competition ends on Sunday.
Jamilah said: "I am trying my hardest to get as many votes in. I am currently leading, but there are only a few votes difference between me and the performers in second and third place.
"This really would be a dream come true as I have been a fan of Nelly for all of his career. Team work really does make the dream work and I love everybody for helping me so far."
Already Scotty T, Vikky and Sophie from Geordie Shore have taken to Twitter with their support. While footballers Nobby Solana and Keith Gillespie have gave Jamilah their backing.
She said: "It only takes two seconds to vote - it's so beautiful what everyone has done to help me."
