Keeping it real for kids
I was astonished to read one of the reader remarks following the Gazette's story about the dad who took issue with a school teacher telling his children there is no such thing as the Easter Bunny.
Nicola Todd wrote: “The school has no place to tell someone’s child what is real or not.”
Seriously? I’d say that is exactly what a school is for. It is, indeed, one of its most basic requirements.
