Keepmoat set to deliver new apartments in South Shields for the first time in a decade
Housing and community regeneration specialist Keepmoat is to build a further 24 apartments at the Trinity South development in South Shields after increased demand from first time buyers.
It is the first time in 10 years the company has built apartments in South Shields and the announcement comes after a report to South Tyneside Council last week showed hundreds of new home are required to meet the needs of local residents.

Lindsay Hall, sales manager for Keepmoat in the North East, said: “We recognised that there was a distinct demand for a smaller product which would cater for first time buyers in the region. These growing market demands led to the decision to provide stylish new apartments, which would complement the existing scheme.
“We haven’t built apartments in South Shields for a number of years but our projects are always crafted to ensure we meet the specific needs of the areas.
“We want this new neighbourhood to integrate into the existing retail area, while attracting new residents, so that the local trade can thrive once again.”
