Large police presence at Temple Park as officers continue to search for ‘seriously injured’ Mark Thompson

Northumbria Police are continuing with their efforts in trying to locate Mark Thompson after he went missing from South Tyneside District Hospital with serious injuries.

A large police presence has been seen on Monday, March 1, at Temple Park in South Shields as officers continue to search for Mark Thompson who went missing from South Tyneside District Hospital at around 8am on Saturday, February 27.

Police believe that the 37-year-old has sustained a serious injury to his stomach but left the hospital before receiving any treatment and concerns for his welfare are growing.

A large police presence has been spotted at Temple Park as the search for Mark Thompson continues.

Mark is described as around 6ft tall, bald and of slim build.
