Learn importance of a hug at koala theatre show
Steven Lee’s How the Koala Learnt to Hug will be brought to life at the Customs House, in Mill Dam, South Shields, on Sunday.
The show is based on the title story from How the Koala Learnt to Hug and Other Australian Fairytales and takes place at 2.30pm.

“Adapting my own book for the stage was a natural step, but it is a surprise even to me that it has had such longevity.”
