Leicester set to beat Newcastle to Loic Remy's signature

Newcastle United target Loic Remy is set to join Leicester City, according to reports in France.

The Chelsea forward is reportedly due for a medical at the club tomorrow ahead of a six-month loan at the Premier League leaders.

Remy is a target for Newcastle in this month's transfer window.

The 29-year-old scored 14 goals for the club on loan from Queens Park Rangers in the 2013-14 season.

Remy is looking to play week in, week out ahead of Euro 2016.

Chelsea are willing to let the France international leave him leave now they have signed Alexandre Pato on loan from Corinthians.
