Makes no sense at all

Having read Gerard Blake's letter and taken a few minutes to consider it, I can see how much sense it makes '“ zero.

Does this numpty not realise that most of the pensioners in the borough would have paid more than their fair share of tax over their working lives. Enough to pay for his (wasted) education and family allowance.

It sounds as if he’s lucky, or smug, enough to have worked a long time.

I am sure if he’s unfortunate enough to lose his job, he will be first in the queue with his shovel to clear the mess that’s fallen from his mouth.
