Police and fire crews were called to a disturbance at a house in South Tyneside.
The emergency services were called to Lawnsway in Jarrow at around 11pm on Monday following reports of problems and a man was arrested.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police, said: “Officers attended and a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.”
He was taken to the police station for questioning and was remanded in custody.
Although a crew from South Shields Fire Station was called to the scene as back up, they did not take any action.
