Man arrested after knife-point robbery at South Shields convenience store
A man has been arrested after a South Shields convenience store was held up at knife-point.
The armed robbery happened at Best One in Dean Road at 9.30pm on Friday, September 15.
A man went into the store armed with a knife, before making off with a quantity of cash.
No-one was injured in the robbery.

Hide AdA 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released under investigation.
