Man harassed woman by sending excessive emails, and other court cases

The following cases have been dealt with at South Tyneside Magistrates' Court.

Andrew John Finn, 28, of Grays Walk, South Shields, pleaded guilty to harassing a woman by emailing her excessively, on November 16, 2017.

He was fined £415 and was told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £41 and costs of £85. A two-year restraining order was imposed.

Darren Bonner, 44, of Percy Street, Jarrow, pleaded guilty to stealing hair clippers to the value of £85 from Boots on November 15, 2017.

He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and was told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £20.

Keith George Martin, 39, of Bedeburn Road, Jarrow, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by sending a letter to a woman from HMP Holme House in Stockton, between November 19, 2017, and November 23, 2017.

He was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, and was told to participate in the Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days.

He was also told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £115. A further indefinite restraining order was made.

Paul Robson, 31, of Warkworth Avenue, South Shields, was re-sentenced after breaching a community order, for an offence of fraud, in July 2014. He was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months.

Kurtis Peter Michael Walker, 25 of Charles Street, Boldon Colliery, was fined £40 for using threatening or abusive wards and behaviour.

He was also ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
