Marsden Monday night Darts League's Annmarie Potts is selected for Wales

Lambton Ladies played hosts to the Rose & Crown E in the Marsden Monday Night League and it was the visitors who came away with a thumping 17-1 win.

Star player Annmarie Potts (180), Scott McParlin (180) and Mark Newsome all won with Michael Brown bagging three victories. Caz Dorothy was Lambton’s star with the only point.

The Alberta returned back to winning ways when they won 13-5 away to the Prince Edward with star Micky Gilmore Jr, Mick Gilmore and Kev Slavin bagging a hat-trick of wins each while Kev Addison won twice.

Prince’s star was Peter Robinson (180) with three wins and Jeff Scrimgour won twice.

Rosie C played the Prince B and it was the Prince who went away with a 14-4 win thanks to star Jeff Smith.

Last Orders A made the visit to the Jolly Steward B and were the victors with a 12-6 win,

Rosie’s points came from star Steve Galloway (180 & 111 c.o.), Shaun Galloway, Michael Edgerton all winning a brace and Matty Booth (137 c.o) with one.

The Lake made the trip to play the Rosie A and grabbed a 12-6 win thanks to star Andy Hood.

Jolly D were at home to the Cleadon Club A and were beaten 13-5 with the Club’s points coming from star Robert Holmes bagging all 4 wins.

Last Orders B were beaten 13-5 by visitors Jolly C with the host’s points coming from star Angie Mann.

Jolly E were beaten by league leaders Rosie B 11-7.

The league would like to congratulate Annmarie Potts on being selected to represent Wales in the Europe Cup being held at the Zuiderduin Hotel, Holland in September.
