Marshmallow snowmen and clay trolls among Frozen-themed fun at outdoor events
Frozen-themed marshmallow snowmen and clay trolls will be brought to life in a programme of events lined up at education centre West Boldon Lodge.
Creative children can try their hand at making figures from the animated blockbuster when the site swings open its doors next Tuesday and Thursday.

Hide AdYoung visitors an their parents or guardian can also savour a Story Book Trail to celebrate National Story Telling Week.
The page will take centre stage during a self-led stroll through the woods, while reading popular paperbacks The Gruffalo, Freddie and the Fairy, Stickman and Superworm.
An expert team at the centre, which is operated by communities’ charity Groundwork South Tyneside and Newcastle (STAN), will oversee activities.
The Story Book Trail, which includes the chance to play in a mud kitchen, visit a fairy village and go on a bug hunt, is on Tuesday, with Frozen-based activities two days later.

Hide AdCommunities manager Rebecca Maw said: “These are exciting and interesting events for children, and we know that adults will also enjoy taking part.
“Youngsters can show just how creative they can be by getting stuck in and making Frozen figures and others, and they’ll have lots of fun on our Story Book Walk.
“The centre is beautiful at this time of year and a great place to come to enjoy the half-term holidays.”
Each event at the purpose-built centre, which is off the A184 Newcastle Road, opposite the Quadrus business centre, lasts two hours.
