Practice manager Irene McConnachie, was delighted with the nomination and said the practice has around 5,600 patients across two sites, the one on South Shields and another in Jarrow.

Ms McConnachie, who has been at the practice for around 25 years, said: “I am very pleased the practice has been nominated.
“We do provide a good service which always has the patients at its heart.

“We have two sites, one in South Shields and one in Jarrow and our staff work across both sites.

“It would be great to win the award, but it is just as nice to be nominated and recognised for what we do.”
