RESIDENTS are being urged to report speeding mini moto riders on an East Shields estate.
A number of the vehicles have been spotted being ridden around Cleadon Park in recent weeks.

Coun Alex Donaldson, the ward’s Labour representative, has heard from a number of constituents who have become alarmed by the bikes, which have been spotted tearing about in the Lonnen, Lilac Avenue, Mill Grove and Ridgeway areas.
He said: “The number of these motorcycles and mini bikes are on the increase in the area. I know it’s difficult for police to catch them as they’re not allowed to pursue them in case of an accident.
“But these people are driving at reckless speeds and they’re weaving in and out between the parked cars. Someone will get hurt.”
Coun Donaldson is encouraging people to try to take a note of any registration numbers they may see speeding past and to report them to the police.
He said: “If people can see the number, and write it down in time, then I urge them to get them.
“I know the police are going to monitor the situation, but if residents can track the registration numbers this will also be a help.”
Anyone who has recorded the registration plates should contact Northumbria Police on 101.
