Police say a missing woman may be in South Tyneside.
Peterova Terezka, 26, had been visiting family in Adelaide Terrace in Elswick, Newcastle, but was reported missing this morning after not being seen for a week.
She is originally from the Czech Republic but has not returned home and both police and her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
It is believed that she may be in the South Tyneside area.
Peterova is described as white but tanned, Eastern European, around 5ft 6in tall, of slim build and with shoulder-length black hair.
She is possibly wearing blue leggings or jeans, a blue t-shirt and floral trainers.
Officers from Northumbria Police say they need to speak to her so they can ensure that she is safe and well.
Peterova, or anyone who has information about her whereabouts, should contact police on 101 quoting log 264 20/04/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
