Murder charge after body discovered in wheelie bin
Police have charged a man with murder after the discovery of a body in a wheelie bin.
Police received reports of a man's body in a back lane in Northbourne Street, Gateshead, on Wednesday afternoon.
He was subsequently identified as Craig Eade, 23, of Gateshead.

Hide AdDetectives investigating the case have now charged Paul Watkins, 36, of Northbourne Street, with murder.
Watkins has been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates sitting at Newcastle Crown Court tomorrow morning.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and extra patrols remain in the area to reassure any concerned residents.
