Need to check its viability
On Saturday, April 28, I went to the Customs House Cinema where the attendance was only 12.
Before our council commits us to a new cinema in the town, I hope they will ensure there is a demand for such a facility as only 12 people on a Saturday night is not encouraging. I understand Boldon cinema gets busy but there is unlimited free parking, which is not available in Shields.
May I make a plea that councillors make sure of the viability of this scheme so we do not have another empty hole in the town centre
May I suggest using Ray Spenser for advice as he at least has experience of running a cinema/theatre complex, I do not know of any councillors or officials who have this.
