Newcastle '˜agree fee' for Tottenham winger Townsend
Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a fee for Tottenham winger Andros Townsend.
The Guardian claims that Spurs have lowered their demands in order to force through a move for the midfielder.
Tottenham had originally demanded a fee of £14m for the 24-year-old, with Newcastle believed to have made an offer of £10m.
Magpies boss Steve McClaren is keen on the winger to add some pace and attacking threat to his side in their relegation battle.
