Newcastle and Fulham 'in stalemate' over Aleksandar Mitrovic fee
Newcastle United and Fulham are £2million apart in their respective valuations of Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to a report.
The two clubs have been in talks over the sale of Mitrovic, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage.
Sky Sports claim that Newcastle are prepared to accept £18million, while the most Fulham are prepared to pay is £16million.
Talks are ongoing ahead of Mitrovic's return from holiday later this week.
The 23-year-old was given an extended break following his involvement at the World Cup with Serbia.
United manager Rafa Benitez wants to sell Mitrovic and reinvest the proceeds on a new striker, with West Bromwich Albion's Salomon Rondon one target.
